I was using Twitterrific on my iPhone 3GS and all of the sudden my screen flickered, then it crashed and rebooted. When it rebooted the icons for two downloaded apps (Bloomberg and AllTheCountries) were blank/generic icons. I uninstalled them on my iPhone, then reinstalled through sync with iTunes. The Bloomberg icon reappeared as normal, but the AllTheCountries icon is still blank. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks...

ur not the only one. a lot of people have this problem, including me. if you run a restore from a backup on itunes it will be fine until you do a hard reset then it will go grey again. if i add any apps they either duplicate other app pics or appear grey. the apps work fine, just the icon is messed up.

i hope they fix this problem with 3.1!!!!

I was just about to post again...I did a hard reboot and, as you mentioned, the icon for Bloomberg grayed-out again, and now one of my apps has the icon of an app that I deleted yesterday...<sigh>. I expect that they will fix this problem (as well as others) with a minor update soon instead of waiting until a larger 3.1 release.

same problem here, if you cant stand the look of it just do the restore from backup and the apps will be fine untill you do a hard reset
