get the beach ball of doom. its happened before, and i restored it. the only two times ive successfully connected are when i first got it, then safe mode restored it. every other time is bupkus.

please help, this is ticking me off.
thanks :]

Join the club...this is exactly what I am going through. I have restored six times now because my iPhone/iTunes freezes whenever I sync with iTunes after updating or installing apps. I have an appointment with Apple Store on Thursday, but do not expect it to be very helpful. Will let you know what happens.

thank you very much, i was starting to get extremely frustrated with not having a $500 phone work with a $3000 computer from the same freaking company.

by the way, have you tried to restore it, then plug it in before any apps are downloaded?

add one more to the list...iTunes works fine until I plug in my iPhone then it freezes. My iPhone and iTunes worked perfectly together since I got it on Friday and up until about an hour ago. My gf's iPod works fine with iTunes. Tried different cables, rebooting, different usb ports, drinking a glass of water from the wrong side of the glass...nothing.

Wait, not nothing. I do get a spinning beach ball. Wheee!!!!
