Iphone dead after ERASE ALL SETTINGS AND DATA FW 2.1

Hi
I have iphone 2G , i unlocked and jailbreked using QuickPwn , everything was ok until i wanted to downgrade from 2.1 to 1.1.4 firmware.
So i thought that i need erase all settings and data, so i pushed "ERASE ALL SETTINGS AND DATA". After that my iphone wont starts up, i see only white apple logo on black screen.
Need your help

did you try forcing it into recovery mode by holding the home and sleep buttons?

enter DFU mode and then connect to iTunes.

The problem was that i was using itunes 7.6

Itunes 7.6? I thought you needed itunes 8 to download 2.1 software

what version of itunes i should be using?
how did you managed to get in the DFU mode, ( i know how to get it there normally) but this time it is stuck!

Dear ysfxp

I dont know why you cant put your iphone in DFU mode,because i could do it normaly. My problem was that my Itunes was not right version
