Hello,

I purchased an iPhone on Launch day last Friday. That night the "earpiece" speaker suddenly started making rattling sounds, lots of static...like the speakers is blown. I went to the Apple store and they gave me a new phone. It has been great for 4 days or so... All of a sudden yesterday the same thing is happening again. If I put the headset vol. at 50% and lower the speakers is clear like normal. If I put it above 50% in vol. the speaker is terrible and can't even understand the caller. Is it possible this is a defect? Am I just that unlucky???

Hey,

When they give you a new phone, is it just a SIM swap and you're immediately good to go on the new phone? Or do you have to mess with activation again?

I've been wondering what the plan is in case I were to damage mine, and needed a fast replacement.

.

Apple Genius took it took the back and swapped SIMS card. When I took it home I had to do some sort of re-activation via itunes. I didn't have to enter all the same info as the first time. Pretty easy
