iPhone dev team re-virginizer

ok so does anyone know when this might be commign out? all the articles and forums keep talking about how their going to release one but i really need it now. My iPhone has a physical defect (my volume button keeps ****ing up) and i need to get apple to give me service. However seeing as how I have an unlocked iphone my warranty isint doing to well and i need them to take it back. So i need to know if they do come out with a re-virginizer would it make the iphone look as if it had never been unlocked?

you can pretty well re-virgin now with INdependence- upgrade to 1.1.1, then run the DFU thing- gets you back to virgin 1.0.2

that would brick his phone and mess things up dont worry the iphone dev team will come out with one shortly i need to service mine as well damn dead pixels
