Hi,i am new one to iphone development i want to know about what are all the basic things needed for iphone development .. what ars all the things ,tools i want to download can any one tell me....
Thanks in Advance.........

Actually you don't have to pay $99 a year. Download XCode and give iPhone development a try. When you've reached the point where you can build an app and it runs in the simulator, that's when you want to pay to actually test on your device and publish it to the App store.

You will need:
Intel based Mac
XCode
eventually an iPod Touch or iPhone
iPhone Developer fee $99 per year (eventually)

Also browse:
Apple iPhone development support documentation
Stanford iPhone Development course through iTunes (new class just started recently)
Browse the iPhone Development forums on this very site

Please check out the Stickies and Guides at the top of this very forum. Also, you're hardly the first person to ask this question. Learning to search and go through information already available to you is another skill that you will want to nurture if you plan to be a developer.
