Hi,
yesterday evening i wanted to charge my iPhone 3GS using an external battery (Mobile Power Station). Soon after connecting the battery my iPhone shutted down. I was unable to restart it, even while connected to my computer. Itunes didn't even recognize my iPhone.
I used recovery mode, which seemed to help, because iTunes recognized it, but when I wanted to restore an error (#1604) popped up. Because the phone had become extremely warm I decided to leave it for a few hours.
After a few hours I returned, but the iPhone still didn't work. Now it's even impossible to start in recovery mode, iTunes simply doesn't recognize it. It seems that the external battery has killed my phones hardware. Or is their still a solution for this problem?
