iPhone Disconnected

I keep getting iPhone disconnected then trying to back up the iPhone 6 plus either plugged into iMac and thru wifi. Could this be a iOS bug?

It could be a lot of things. You need to focus on getting it to work with the cable first - Restart the iPhone, and if that doesn't work, restart the iMac. If it still doesn't work, try another USB port on the iMac, then a different cable.

If the wifi syncing doesn't work after all that, and has in the past, restart your router.

I can sync my iPad with no issues with usb.

I get this quite often with my phone.. I don't know what happens to make it start/sync...

however hubby's phone keeps doing it.... can't figure out the issue!
