iPhone 13, iOS8.1.1. About 3 weeks ago, my phone stopped receiving 2nd factor 6 digit codes from my bank and others. Long conversation with Apple Support hasn't helped. Suggestions/solutions?

Are you talking about SMS text message codes? If so, I would think it’s no different than in the other SMS text message. Are you receiving them?
I would also check with your carrier to see if maybe they are blocking them as spam.
My only other thought is iOS has a feature where it’ll automatically delete SMS authentication messages after it copies the number for you to paste. I can’t remember where that setting is though.
Settings app > General > Autofill & Passwords > Verification codes. Try turning off ‘Delete After Use’ (if it is currently on)
