Don't know if this has been said before but the iPhone earphones really do suck majorly. My first pair of earphones that came with the iPhone, one of the earpieces blew out so I had to by another one on Friday. It's now Monday and one of the earpieces of my new earphones blew out again. This is really irritating. Apple should make earphones that don't blow out so easily. I listened to plenty of music on other earphones with the music being as loud as it is and there are still working but they don't fit the iPhone. So pissed. Sorry bout that. I just had to vent a little

instead of buying another, you should see if you can get a replacement pair under the standard warranty. i'm sure apple would have been very happy to offer you a new pair. also, is there a reason your headphones are blowing out? are you listening to your music a little too loudly? if so, lower the volume and protect your ears. nevertheless, try to get those ear buds replaced under warranty. sorry you had to buy a replacement pair.

I do listen to my earphones loudly but this is the only pair that have actually blown out. My other earphones I have aren't blown out and have listened to them just like I do my iPhone. I just wish they don't though. But I'll definately get another pair replacement that's free though.

At least I don't feel bad. One of my earphones was blown out as well but I'm going to call Apple so they can issue me a replacement.

And it was blown out before I had even turned up the volume half way. DOA perhaps?

I have to agree. The headphones that came with my G2 iPod lasted until I bought a new iPod about a year ago. Now the new ones broke just some months later. I remember having the same problem when I tried the in-ear-headphones. After being replaced 4 times I stopped using them and continued using the ones that originally came with the iPod. The latest Apple headphones seem to break quite easily.
