Iphone (edge) sounds resetting

Hello.

When I customize my sounds, such as set personal ring tones for specific numbers, after a few hours, the phone sound goes back to the master ring tone that I have set for all numbers.

This is a new problem and I've reset my phone plenty of times...to no avail.

Any help?

To answer one of your questions, it is not a new problem. I don't know how widespread it is though and, furthermore, don't know if Apple is working to fix it.

Thanks , however I'm hoping for a possible solution, short of taking it to an Apple or At&t store.

Please suggest to Apple that ringtones should be a setting in iTunes as well as on the phone.

I've made this suggestion before. Things like this are bound to happen. It wouldn't be a big deal if you could just re-sync with your computer. Suggest it.
