hey,

My iPhone 6 has the annoying clicking of the screen (loose screen) so I set up a repair with apple and they said they were going to send me a new iPhone (refurb) and I had to send my defective one back within 10 days and to make sure of that they would put a hold on my Credit Card.

The problem is. The screen only makes the noise like 75% of the time. Sometimes it seems to be ok but than the noise will return.

What would happen if I returned my phone and they could not reproduce the issue? Would they care me? Because the issue truly exists but sometimes is hard to reproduce...

Can you take it in to an Apple Store instead?

That way, you can demonstrate the issue to them and they will be able to record that they have witnessed it.

Unfortunately I can’t. The next Apple store is more than a 2 hr. drive away.

I don't know if they'd charge you, or just return your old iPhone and ask for their replacement back.

You can always goto support.apple.com and online chat with them to see what they say, before you do it.
