Hi Guys!

I have an iPhone 15 Pro with AppleCare+. I accidentally dropped it on the workshop floor, resulting in a hairline crack on the back panel (though it's not very visible). After this incident, I've also been experiencing intermittent screen issues, with the lower left side of the display becoming unresponsive at times.

I contacted Apple, and they offered me an express replacement if I pay for accidental damage.

My question is, can Apple charge me the full retail price, claiming it looks more like cosmetic damage, or if they cannot reproduce the screen issue once they receive the device?

No Apple store in town. Only other option would be send in repairs

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The damage fee is $99 (in USA; varies elsewhere), doesn't matter if it's cracked or submerged in liquid or whatever.
