I'm looking for (if it even exists), an iPhone finance/money/budget app that can be updated on the go and shared between people; example, a husband and wife. Basically what I am after is an app that if i'm out spending money on beer and tech gadgets and my wife is out buying clothes and arts and crafts, is there a way that we can each keep a copy of whats in our account, update it when we make a purchase, and it "pushes" those details to the other persons account? Almost in a way like a drop box account. Not sure even where to begin or if i'm being clear enough. I've looked and googled, and figured i'd shoot a question to the macrumors world. Thankx in advance!

PocketMoney from Catamount Software seems to exactly meet your needs. In particular the 4th point at http://www.catamount.com/blog/?cat=12 - "Email new transactions to your spouse to keep each other updated at all times".

There is also an user forum and the author is very good at posting frequently there. The app is very actively supported and enhanced.

The author did get married recently so whether the capabilities to email transactions to a spouse are about to get more thoroughly tested or whether they're about to get "accidentally" disabled remains to be seen :D

I use PocketMoney and cant tell people enough how useful it is!

At a glance you can see all your accounts, Current Balance, Avaliable balance and so on! Just put in the details of who or where its coming from and Walah! It also remembers previous transactions so when you put in gym, it automatically comes up with the last cost!.

High recommend, and worth the money!

Hsa the ability as you have asked to update your partner altough i dont use this feature, Please see below

Just curious, if I had five new transactions that I needed to send to my partner, would I be able to send one email with all the new transactions, or would I have to send each transaction one by one (another app requires each transaction be sent one by one).

Without using that feature im not entirely sure but i imagine it does it automatically after every transacation as there carried out.

will have a go later as im at work and i dont get enough signal here

If you get beyond curiosity to the point where you're close to a decision and answers are critical to you then you can always register and post questions on the PocketMoney for iPhone forum here (http://catamount.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=12). The chances are that you'll get a reply directly from the app developer (Hardy Macia) within 24 or 48 hours.
