hi guys, I had an iPhone with a broken screen, so claimed on the insurance.

When on the phone to them, they said for me to turn 'Find My' off before sending, which I understand the reason why but it was clear to me that he could check that I had done it, given just the IMEI number, is this possible? It made me wonder if he had access to my iCloud account if not..?

Thanks

James

They don’t have access to your iCloud account but “Find My” status can be verified with just the IMEI. You have nothing to worry about.
