adobe sdk developers kit is the best new macs don't ship with flash why would iphones.
Supposedly flash would consume too much of the iphone's battery power: LAME REASONING.![]()
Please explain why that is lame reasoning?
Its a lame excuse because if you don't want your battery to take a hit, don't go to a flash-heavy site. A properly written mobile version of flash shouldn't use any resources if you aren't decoding a flash site. We're smart enough to not use Youtube when we don't want to drain our battery; we're smart enough to manage flash usage as well.
I'm hoping it was left out in anticipation of the redesigned Flash Mobile and Apple is waiting until the SDK is out to encourage us to upgrade by offering it only in that firmware update.
Well, Apple is waiting until Adobe develop a plugin suitable for the device. They've just released a product that does h.264...you can join the dots.
The reasoning for not allowing any old crap on the iPhone is they've gone to great lengths to make the device energy efficient (ie. it's one of the design features). If an iPhone was your phone you'd appreciate good battery life.
