If apple only offered iphones in 5.4" and 6.7", which size would you choose?

Probably 6.7". My Galaxy A71 is already at 6.7". :D
My issue would probably be on weight. My A71 is 6.7" but it weighs only 180gram. The 12 Pro Max is at 228grams.

I hope Apple would consider aluminum again for the larger iPhones. The 12 weighs 25grams less than the 12 Pro despite both having the same size, thanks to aluminum. Maybe this is why the rumor of titanium. It's stronger than stainless steel, but lighter.

Yes, that is without cover. My pro is 207g with cover. Steel should not be considered a pro on a mobile device.

A few years ago would have chosen the 6.7” size as i brought the 6s+ and 8+, but now prefer more compact phones so now have the 12 mini and love this size.

You’re on the same page as me. Tried out the 12 pro max and came incredibly close to buying it; the display size was just perfect for me and it felt great holding it in the hand. But that weight would suck in the pocket during summer. Something closer to 200g or just below it would be fine; the iPhone 11 at 194g never gave me any issues for example.

I likely wouldn't choose either. 5.4 is just too small and 6.7 is just too big ... for me at least. I honestly liked 5.8 the most I think. I love my IP12P, but my IP11P is looking at me from across the room.

Both equally spec'd? What if the phone of your choice was missing something important to you that the other size had. Would you change your decision? Mind blowing stuff here, isn't it?

If both were equally spec'ed, I'd choose the 5.7". I would welcome a phone that is a bit smaller than the 6.1", but a bit larger than the mini at 5.4".

I would take even a cheaper big phone like the A71 over say a 13 mini pro with flagship specs and 120hz. A small screen is pointless for what I use my phone for.

5.4" without hesitation. The only real impact is that I would pick up more my barely used iPad Pro.

Here's what I want; the size of the 6.7 with the weight of the 5.4
There’s a way, aka using plastic frame and back. Plastic is exactly why there are many Android phones with hefty 5000 and 6000 mAh batteries, yet they weigh less than iPhones.

But plastic brings other issues like durability.

Devinm, the prophesized Iphone Flip/Fold is calling for you (and me to).

Yes they should have released the 12 Pro in its native 5.8". I would have had a serious headache choosing between the 12 Mini 5.4 and a 12 Pro 5.8 (in Graphite). First world problem i know.
