Hello,

this has happened about five or more times in the past month. and seems to be happened more often...

the phone freezes completely, and i hold down both buttons to do a hard reset... it goes as far as the rotating thing, and then nothing happens. i wait for several minutes, sometimes many, and then do another hard reset... this goes on for sometime until it finally works. .... what is happening? should i take it in?

very frustrating....

... is this problem known to be related to heat? usually happens in cars... though only about 85-90...

You say it's been happening for about a month, have you applied the recent system update? (the v1.0.1 update?) If so, did that make it worse or better, if not you might want to try it.

If you still have problems, post-system update, I would take it back to Apple. You might have bad memory or a jacked-up logic board inside the thing that no amount of TLC is going to fix.
