iPhone freezing after sliding to unlock

i have a 1.1.2 (OTB) UK iphone.

first it was jailbroken so that it could use o2 pay and go. and then recently i unlocked it using iclarified's geohot unlock on installer.

everything's fine except that it sometimes freezes for a few seconds after sliding to unlock or then displays the ipod controls.

anyone have any ideas on what i should do?

I've had the problem before as well back when I was running 1.0.2 Firmware. That is definitely a bug but before you do anything and do a restore, try going to settings on your phone, tap on general,tap reset and tap reset all settings. Then turn off and reboot your phone and see if that take care of your problem.

I have a locked phone and this sometimes happens to me too. Try to turn it off completely, i.e. slide to power off.

Remember, it's a mini computer, and will need restarting every so often.

i've reset the settings. no freezes so far! but it was intermittent before, so i'll keep trying it.

Glad I can help... Keep in mind that this reset everything including your network settings. So if you are using an unlock phone this erases your Edge settings.

i've been locking and unlocking it a fair bit and it seems just fine.
