Iphone from US to Europe

Hi all, I need some help. I bought my Iphone 3G afew months ago in the US from the Apple Store, but I didnt activate it yet. I got trasferred back to Europe about a month ago, and I was wondering if it was possible to activate it through like Vodaphone.

No, it isn't possible.

You could jailbreak and unlock it for sure, but out-of-the-box it will only work on AT&T.
