After for about a year and a half buying and trying new games I'm pretty worn out about it. I've grown tired of spending five bucks on a game and then they are **** or no replay value. Ive decided to only keep 4 games that i absolutely love and cannot give up and im only buying other apps from now on that are useful. As much as i love my iphone i will use it for socializing and the awesome ipod it is, but i am done buying games/. End rant

Zombieville seems to be the only game I've not un-installed.

I've had soccer, paper toss, air hockey, LED football and a few others. They were good but just got old.

Out of ten or so games I still have installed, I also have monopoly, real racing and peggle.

Playing peggle now in fact.

I've been considering Monopoly for a while now. Want to play with the wife but keep hearing stories about inconsistent Wi-Fi performance.

Exactly!!!!

I don't get it... I mean, who, who has a game console -- Wii, PSX, whatever -- keeps playing every single game they ever bought six months or two years or three years after they bought it? I never used my consoles that way -- I bought games, enjoyed them, and then they ended up on the shelf when I'd had enough.

Same concept on the iPhone -- just the games are a lot cheaper, and they don't last as long.

I don't play console games but I've found a few games that I really am impressed with on the iPhone.

  • Asphalt 5
  • Monopoly
  • Ravensword
  • Real Racing
  • Rogue Planet
  • Soosiz

In order of most played keepers

1. Uniwar
2. Galcon
3. Monopoly
4. Lexic
5. Zombieville USA
6. Real Racing
7. Brain Exercise

Sandstorm, minigore, international snooker, real football 10 and the awesome icopter!!!!!
That's the games I play all the time!

Flight Control, Real Soccer 10, Paper Toss, World War, Field Runners, Zenonia, Brothers in Arms, Resident Evil Degeneration, Flick Fishing, Spore, Star Defense, Let's Golf, Hero of Sparta, Sky Smash, Skee-Ball, Word Search, Warship, FAST, NFS Undergound,

I only intended to have a few also but lately I've found myself playing more and more games but I've gotten rid of a lot also that turned out not worth it. Still want to try Sim City and Sims 3 but not sure if it's worth the money.

Lets golf is an amazing game, I LOVE it. I really wish GameLoft would update it to include things like bluetooth, online and more levels.

Too bad they have a bad habit of putting something out and abandoning it.

I upgraded to a 3GS over the weekend. Gotta say I like gaming a bit more all of a sudden. Graphics are silky and not a lot of skipping like before.

Purchased the original Monopoly and got whooped by the AI. Love it though, brings back memories of playing with the family back in the day. :p

I have a love-hate relationship with the iPhone Monopoly app. It's pretty awesome to be able to play Monopoly anywhere, but I swear the AI cheats. The last time I played, I had three monopolies, two with hotels on all of properties and one with three houses on all properties. The AI never once in four times going around the board landed on one of my properties, but I landed twice on his single monopoly that had three houses per property. Losing to a cheating AI put me in a bad mood.

*licks lips* I am reasonably happy on first-gen gaming, but I can't wait for my 3G S to get here. Not to mention its 32GB will let me load mostly all my music and still have room left for all my games too. :)

I would be happy with only Defender Chronicles. It's the only game that has kept me interested since getting it 6 months ago.

I didn't think I'd see a noticeable speed boost - boy was I wrong. Start up is fast, apps load fast and games are smooth. I got the phone for video, the overall snappiness is a nice bonus.

An example, if I'm playing Zombieville, I can tell I'm about to get an email or that I'm fetching because the animation starts skipping. I'll jump from the far left of the screen to the far right instantly.
