iPhone Gen 1 PAYG

I bought a First gen iPhone recently and as soon as it gets to me Ill be activating it. Now I know for sure I will fail the credit check simply because I have no credit. So when I go for the PAYG plan I have a few questions

How do I get the iPhone plan on my monthly bill or can I not?

Does visual voicemail still work?

Can I add unlimited texts to it as well?

I use PAYG and my answers are just from my own experience, so you'll probably want to double check things on the AT&T site etc, but ...

The plan takes out of my account in advance each month around the 2nd - not sure if that's what you were asking.

Visual Voicemail definitely still works.

I didn't choose it, but there were options for various levels - including unlimited - for texts ...

I have unlimited data with the plan.

Yes, those popups are there. I imagine there is a way to turn them off, but I've never tried as I like seeing where things stand most of the time and it's very easy to dismiss them quickly when you don't feel like seeing.

Whatever is left (if anything) on your balance at the end of each month also rolls over for you ...
