I am noticing my iPhone gets quite warm. Is this normal or does it mean it is defective?

Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

This depends. Is it charging or are you using it when it gets warm? I believe Apple mentioned on their site that it is normal for the iPhone to get warm during charging or certain types of use. I notice mine gets warm when I am charging, using EDGE, or watching video. If you are experiencing the warming during these times it is probably normal. If your phone is getting warm when you aren't even using it I would take it in.
