I am running on ios 16.6. Very recently I have observed that my iphone 12 pro Max keep getting disconnected from the wifi when I left it idle or when screen is locked. Tried all available online solutions but nothing worked. Any clue.

Technically that's always the case, or it has been at least since I first heard about it with the iPhone 5 back in 2012.
To save power the phone will disconnect from WiFi when not in use. Is your problem the fact that it does not connect back to WiFi when it wakes up?
Might want to see if Auto Join is selected for your WiFi network if that is the case.

Thanks for your reply. I find it rather weired. At times it remains connected and at times it keeps on failing to reconnect (even with Auto Login turned on). All possible means tried without any luck.
