enjoying a nice day at the beach in hawaii when all of a sudden a huge wave swallows my iphone and i. its been in a bag of rice for the past 4 days but its still unresponsive and the water sensor is still white in the headphone jack but im not sure about the other one anyways its jailbroken and all that comes up right now is the pinneapple when i plug it in.. im pretty sure im screwed with it being jail broken and wet but i just want some advice on what else i should try.

Well, since you've turned it on there's nothing else you do. You'll need to un-JB and then restore as new and take it back to the store. You can then get an out of warranty replacement for $199.
 
when i plug it in, it only stays on for like 30 seconds and shuts off again so i guess ill just go to the store and pay the $199 pocketchange
