So im by no means good at this kind of stuff, but when the Iphone came out last year I was somehow able to follow instructions and hack my iphone with guidance from this board to be able to get my phone unlocked and hacked with anysim program.

I believe it has 1.1.1 and i have not touched it since. I know there have been many updates since, and was wondering if someone could guide me in the right way of uploading some of the latest firmware upgrades onto my phone. Has it become easy to do, or multiple tricky steps like i did over a year ago?

Not sure where to begin. Thanks

you're going to have to find iTunes 7.7

It's currently new at 8.0

You won't be able to do quickpwn with 8.0

Once u get 7.7, get quickpwn... It has a nice GUI... Follow the instructions... The only tricky part is when your phone is in dfu mode and u have to hold down 2 buttons and click on restore to pick which firmware to load...

I jus ate chicken Alfredo and I'm really full... Like... It's hard to breathe...

and there was garlic bread... But it wasn't like just bread... It was like a loaf...

damn, i was getting annoyed with OSX telling me to upgrade that i just installed 8.0

so all i do is get quickpwn, and thats it? I did like a million steps before. haha

thx

Just wait

You have waited for so long now just wait until the Dev Team get Pwnage and/or QuickPwn ready for use with iTunes 8 and then everything will be much easier, quicker and fault free and your phone will be up to date.
It will only be another week or so.
