Hello everyone,

I've checked the weird behavior of my iPhone and from my sister's iPhone. The internet just didn't worked yesterday out of sudden and we thought it was just Wlan Router issue. We reset it and it didn't helped either. Connection from other devices (Android Phone, Tablet, iPad, macBook) seems to be absolutely fine per WLAN and LAN.

Then we've tried to connect Wlan per macBook Hotspot, that didn't worked either. Internet per Wire from macBook, same result.
Then I tried to toggle off the Wlan trying to connect mobile Internet (we have 4G LTE here), not even that works at all.

So I tried to connect other Wlan from my neighbours (was asking for it), no success either!

Wlan Settings keep saying that it can't connected to the Internet anymore.

We may get random notifications from other message application which requires internet connection for this, but this is very rare. Like internet works only in a very short time period.

To my eyes, it seems like iPhone is faulty. It's also kinda odd that this very same issue happend to my sister's iPhone at the same time as well.
What can we do?

My iPhone iOS (12 Pro Max): 15.4
My Sis iPhone iOS (12 Pro): 15.3.1

After Updating to 15.4.1 per macBook wire it didn't helped either.

Does someone have an idea why this is causing it?

Thanks,

YanDev

For oddly reason, it appears I have no issue for any incoming internet, but outcoming internet doesn't work

Found the issue: It was VPN issue (NordVPN) b/c of the changed password. Wish iOS could just have warned it when there is no connection anymore from VPN...

Problem Solved!

I have been struggling for over 2 months with whatsapp connection issues on my iphone 12. I did all the problem solving as advised by whatsapp, apple, on internet, my network provider etc etc with not results. At the apple store they initially insisted it is a whatsapp/user issues. They only ran all the diagnostic tests after I challenged them to get whatsapp to work on my iphone as it was working fine on another person's iphone 12 (hence no problem with whatsapp), and it had issues syncing with icloud and onenote etc. Results: there is a problem with the iphone 12 not connecting properly to the internet and they will now replace it. Let's hope not with a refurbished phone as I paid a lot of money for a new phone. So if you have a similar problem, insists that they run all tests, not only the initial tests. By the way, my oneplus 3 phone bought in 2016 outperformed the iphone 12 so far, no issues at all and still a long battery life.
