iPhone hates NIN?

So i had one track off of the album with teeth by nine inch nails in my library, and thus on my phone. the track plays FINE in itunes. but when I play on my iPhone my phone freaks out, it locks up for a good 30 seconds and never plays the song.

So today i finally got around to deleting that MP3 from my library, and replaced with a NEW mp3, as well as a few more songs from the same album. Again, they all work fine in itunes, but now i just synced them to my phone and it is doing it again! it's very frustrating and ONLY happens for those songs.

Any ideas? Thanks for reading.

That's why everybody who downloads Tap Tap: NIN gets their phones bricked.

Is it an iTunes store file or an actual Mp3 file you "acquired" somewhere?

It may be encoded poorly and the iPhone's iPod app isn't designed to handle that file's particular format.

It may be a poisoned file also meant to mess with people's PeeCees.

Get a clean song file and try again.

I've had this problem in the past. It usually has to do with the lyrics ID3 Tag or the encoding, the latter of which was my problem. Some of NIN's stuff is distributed in very high quality formats (The Slip), converting them in ITunes via the convert to MP3 menu fixed it for me.

It is a file I acquired somewhere LOL.

This is my second mp3 for the same song I guess I'll try a third...

ALSO something interesting...it doesnt let me apply artwork to the NIN songs in iTunes. There isn't even an artwork tab when i click get info for each song...
