I have a couple of movies on my iphone and everytime I sync it takes a looooong time while it says 'backing up iphone'. I assume this is becasue of the of the movies. Is there a way to sync w/out copying the movies every time?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)

You can just hit the x when it says that it's backing up and let it just sync. But be warned that if you do this it will erase previous back ups and you might lose everything if you have to restore.

So the backing up process backs up the entire iphone every time? It doesn't look to see if there are things on there (movies, for example) that haven't changed since the last backup, and not re back them up? Not a very elegant approach, is it? How unApple can you get!
