Is it possible to plug the iPhone headphones into the headphone slot in my computer and use that as my headset to make calls over my computer? I do NOT have an internal microphone on my computer, so I would need the iPhone headphones to also work as the microphone for my calls.

TIA

If it's a recent model Mac. (Unibody MacBook Pro) for instance. Then yes. The volume controls and microphone all work.

A regular PC will expect a standard 3.5mm jack plug. And obviously will not be expecting a microphone and a volume clicker.
