I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and and Apple Watch S7 GPS. Both running latest versions of their OSs.

After updating the phone to IOS 17, the Health app no longer shows the graphs of my resting and general heart rate. The data is being recorded by the watch and is visible there. HR is recorded and reported fine in the Fitness app and in Strava.

When I go to “Browse” and “Heart” in the Health app, I see the attached screenshot: no HR options are available. I have also attached a screenshot from my GF’s phone, where things are working as they should.

I’ve been through all the settings and permissions I can think of and have unpaired and repaired the watch and deleted and reinstalled the Health app. Nothing makes any difference.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks!

Just to add… the list of option for Heart when editing favourites is much shorter on my phone then on my GF’s.

Weird. Mine is fine (13 Mini, AW SE, all latest OS).

Might try unpairing and re-pairing the Watch with the phone. And maybe uninstall/re-install Health as something might have been corrupted in its silo.

Just to update this, after never finding a solution it has now fixed itself with the update to iOS 18. All the historic HR data is visible. Weird.

Just to report: My iPhone XR had stopped to get fitness data from AW 5 four days ago. Restarting the AW didn't make any difference, but restarting the iPhone did it.
