Hiya

Sorry if these are stupid or obvious questions but I am about to Jailbreak and activate an iPhone which I think has 1.2 firmware.

I have a friend who got me one from the UK last month and it finally arrives this week.

I know I should have waited but it was cheap and have been waiting for a while and the price drop was too much to resist.

Anyway a couple of questions;

When I update the firmware should I keep the original sim in (O2 I think) or my sim I intend to use (Virgin).
Then once the firmware is updated I intend to use Pwnage to Jailbreak & Activation, now do I have a sim loaded when I do this or wait until it is done and again if so which Sim card.

Again I'm sorry if these are stupid questions but can't seem to find the answers in the FAQ.

Thanks

Graham

Sweet, enjoy your new iPhone! I just got one a couple of weeks ago and love it! I still think the 3g phone is a ways away, though I am definitely in the minority.

Anyway, definitely use Pwnage. Its definitely the best choice. I think you need to update the firmware and run Pwnage with the SIM card you plan to use installed.

Thanks Mike

Can't wait to get it and start playing around with it.

Thanks for the help.
