It's interesting how they lump blackberry models together but not iPhone models. The curve 83/85/8900 series are pretty different devices.

Given the way they count and the fact that the iPhone is only one carrier, it's enormously impressive that the 3gs leads the list. I'd like to see some actual sales numbers, too. Presenting it as a "top ten" makes it seem like they're all very good sellers, but I bet the gap between the top few and the others is huge.
 
Thanks, but those figures are worldwide. The article is about US sales.

The article also says it includes whatever millions of any device went to inventory, not the actual through sales to users.

From past history, the iPhone always comes out first during the quarter that a new model comes out. Then it drops back while new models from other makers take over first and third. Pretty normal.
