How do you get hold of the application icons?

Am searching and found there are system icons but I cant see how to use them.

Example the backward pointing arrow which means to go back, how do I grab that to use as an image?

So are you talking about the buttons that go throughout the system or just icons on the home screen(s)?

Yeah, some clarification on what icons you are referring to would help. Perhaps attach a sample image of one, or some, of these icons to your post.

In a ways, yes. I believe you are referring to the UIBarButtonItem class' UIBarButtonSystemItem constants. As described in the developer documentation, these can be used in UIToolbar and UINavigationBar. If you are wanting to use these outside of these kinds of objects, then no, you can't access them.
