Okay let's say Apple's gonna release the iPhone in Asia..I currently live in Asia and probly gonna use an Asian carrier (duh) but..I've got an American iTunes account (I got all my music, movies and such on this account). If the iPhone is gonna use iTunes to become activated..can I use the American account...?

i mean..if I do have a SSN and I am able to register with AT&T is it possible that I could use it in Asia without International Roaming (i mean like putting in a local number...)

OR

if the Asian iPhone launches in 08 is it possible that I can activate it on an American iTunes account

You would only be able to use it with the sim card that AT&T supplies. That means you would have a US number and would pay international roaming rates.

Who knows, though, someone may hack it but so far no signs that anyone has done so. Wait a week and see what happens.
