How many of you think the iPhone will be available in Canada in June at launch?

I doubt it will be at launch, even though it really should be. However, I think in a month or two we'll see it in Canada as I thought there were rumblings of a July release on Rogers.

You think the iPhone will sell well in Canada? We don't have the generous data plans that are available in the US which I feel is the limiting factor behind most people getting internet-centric smartphones. I don't think the back to school season will be a target date, this gadget is too expensive for the average student.

I think you really hit the nail on the head there, maestrokev. Data plans. Currently, for 200MB/month of data with Rogers, it's $100/month, and there is no such thing as an "Unlimited" plan as there is in the US. Heck, for 0.5MB/month, it is around $30/month. That is just ridiculous! Until Rogers offers more affordable plans, I can't see the iPhone taking off in Canada.
