Vesper in Casino Royale has an Apple iPhone. Teaser???? I was intrigued...

:D

Nope, James Bond had the Sony Ericsson.

The girl's phone was CLEARLY an Apple. At the end of the movie, they show the back of the phone and it had a little apple on it.

Well it was similar to an iPod, but what about the interface? I've just forgotten what it looks like. Either way, it was quite large for a phone or she had small hands.

At the end of the film, I swear the phone had an apple on it.

Do I have to go see the movie again now?

LOL

I thought the face of the phone (Side with the screen) was aluminum whereas the back was white, but I might be confused. Anyone want to clarify?

It was a white Sony Ericsson phone, similar to Bond's.

Why would Sony, who produced the movie, let Apple put their phone in the film? And why would Apple choose to unveil the phone that way?

No clue. I am downloading a cam version to get a screen shot.

A look on GSM yeids no results at all for anything remotely close to a moderately large white candybar phone with aluminum backside.

i just got the SE K800i on contract from O2. the salesman bought it out of the back room and said there was a special bond promo going on, so the phone came with 3 Bond DVD's and a bond packaging, etc. appparently, the silver colour is a special one for the bond film. well, that's what he said. connection? maybe.

it's wierd that this thread should come up actually, i have always felt that the sony ericssons closely follow the "apple way". simple UI and some of the phones are stunning.

SE definitely do not have a simple UI.

each to his own i guess. when i used my friend's nokia a while back (this was an N70) it was inbcredibly slow to respond to input. SE are generally fast, but it's all a matter of opinion. i cant stand nokia since they moved to smartphone type stuff. :)

it seems sony heavily sponsored the movie, even the bad guys had sony ericcson's, not to mention all those Vaio's

That tends to happen when Sony tries to monopolize the markets

MGM: Bought by Sony Pictures.
Therefore Sony computers, sony gadgets, sony phones, and so on.

lol...it is possible that some applefan editor used an apple theme on the m600 to wind sony up and they didnt catch it...:D
