Why can't I see my iphone in Windows Explorer? I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver, but nothing.

Different threads - as there seems to be no "real" solution for this issue. Different experts read different threads. BTW: your link to the thread doesn't seem to include any good solutions that work.
