I am planning on buying an iPhone next week, but want to get it insured. I called AT&T, but they don't offer it for the phone. Has anyone gotten it insured from their primary rental or home insurance company. If so, how much on average have you been spending??

Thanks in advance.

Yes I was just informed that I can schedule my phone into my policy. I think if they take out the new camera the policy will stay the same $25 a month. But I have a ton of crap insured.

$25 a month? wow! I pay $100 a year for $50,000 coverage on my renter's insurance!

he said he has a ton of crap insured and that taking a new camera off the policy and adding the iPhone would have a zero-net impact on his policy. Now, that's not a particularly helpful piece of information for us, but it's not at all what you are making it out to be.

Call them again. I got the MacBook Pro AND the iPhone with them for a grand total of $33/yr.
