Very cool photoshop mockup there. Tight integration like that would be awesome - especially if Apple worked GPS into the iPhone.

yes, i can imagine a BMW 7 series executive, walnut veniere all over, space for just two people at the back and this expensive kids candy on the dashboard .. and wait .. iPhone dont have any I/O port on its sides .. purpose built? huh!

i wouldnt recommend iPhone on any car other than beetle or a mini.

I am sure there will be a great deal of integration, hopefully again by bluetooth because plugging in really sucks when 2 years later the design is slightly changed or I buy a different phone.

Perhaps instead of bluetooth, it could link via wifi if the onboard BMW comp were to create some form of a network, which is not out of the question.
