iphone/ipad is not eligible for requested build?

hello every1

i have been trying to update both my ipad 2 version 4.3.5 and iphone 4 version 4.2.10 to IOS 5 but i keep getting this message " This device isn't eligible for the requested build" and both my devices are not jailborken.

any1 know how to fix this?
