Hello,

I'm considering getting a new touch or iphone... well waiting for enough cash.
I was wondering where everyone gets their non-apple store apps from (i.e. the ones that aren't allowed on app store). Is it from the developer or is their also a repository (in the form of a link based site) for these apps?

Thanks, i tried searching but to no avail so please don't kill me!

to be able to run third party apps not available on the app store, you have to jailbreak your phone, in that process it installs a program to your phone called cydia which houses a bunch of repositories full of programs and themes and whatnot for the phone :)

also you can find applications on torrents and whatnot
