iphone is giving me issues,should I wipe?

when I use the spotlight or whatever its called,sometimes it wont work and I have to turn the phone on and off,i having issues with double noise when getting texts..ect,little things.

Should I restore the iPhone and use a backup? Will the phone be exactly how the backup is?Not trying to re config everything.

do a backup, then restore the iphone.
once restore is complete, itunes will prompt to set up as new or restore from backup - choose restore from backup.

You might try a hard reset before you go for the full restore - if it works, it would save you some time...

Hold power and home button at same time until the white apple shows up. Then let go. It will restart from there. Often, this is enough to fix problems.
