Just wondering?

I keep my pictures on my work laptop due to a bigger SSD. How can I get those folders on my iPhone while still keeping it synced to the iTunes of my personal.

Your can't. The iPhone can only be synced with one computer. It's done intentionally, to make you buy everything from iTunes

Buy a cheap external drive and store all your photos on that. Connect it to your personal computer then point the photo sync section of iTunes to the external. It should work as it would still be from the same computer/iTunes that is trusted by the phone.

Maybe you could try storing it on a floppy and insert that in your other laptop, photo by photo?

Syncing photos through iTunes seems kind of old fashioned. What's wrong with iCloud Photo Library or Google Photos?
