iPhone - iTunes Activations Problem

I'm trying to set up a new iphone for a girl in my office. For some reason when I connect the phone, iTunes is throwing up this error:



No problem with the internet connection and she can access the iTunes store in the normal way.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

it's a system wide Apple - iTunes problem, everyone is getting it.

Yup, looks like the servers just taken a dive. I'd expect it from O2... But Apple? Tut, tut. I've waited all day and now I can't activate. If I wasn't laughing I'd be crying.
