iPhone & iTunes Question

If I listen to a song on my iPhone does it update the last time played on my itunes after I sync up?

When you sync your iPhone with iTunes, do you use the "manually manage songs and playlists," because if you do, I don't think it updates when you do that....

Works fine that way too. I only listen to music via my car dock, specifically one play list. When I add music to the list its generally new so 0 play counts. Yet iTunes shows over 20 plays on most even though almost all have never been played in iTunes.
