Hello all,

This has probally been shot to death a million times but I just a need a quick question answered.

If I have a standard, non-jailbroken iPhone running 2.2.1, and want to jailbreak it for the first time - do all my currently applications and contacts, phone settings, etc get deleted upon the jailbreak?

Thanks for the help,
iGreggor

Are they are guides for this process? I just don't want to brick the device...

The only way it can get bricked is if you happen to unplug it while the firmware is being flashed. Other than that, a DFU restore will fix any problems you encounter.

A few tips:
-Always back up first
-Try not to have a bunch of stuff on the phone when you run quickpwn (apps and media)
-Relax
