Hello,

My experience so far has not been that good with IOS 18 public beta. Phone especially in camera app and Safari it goes black for a couple seconds then comes back to Lock Screen. Apps are still open like they were before this happens. Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
Angelo

Constantly.. sometimes it will happen 2-3 times every 30-60 seconds. I have a 512gb 15 Pro Max with 7GB free. Questioning if it’s a space issue or a ram issue, or a missing AI feature that’s not activated in that moment and it resprings. Curious to know if 18.1 fixes.

Yup. Same here. The phone resprings (or soft reboot if you will) itself constantly. I just even noticed today with it just sitting still, it even reboots by itself. And I have no idea why. 18.1 does not seem to fix it on my phone. And I’m on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

It didn’t seem to fix it on my end. So I’m not really sure what the deal is. Hoping someone can eventually figure it out so this could be fixed. I know it’s a beta! I get it! But it does get very annoying.

I will let y’all know that I actually just called Apple and wanted to report the problem. Because it’s a pretty significant bug. That being said, the technical support guy that I spoke to told me that he was looking into it to see whether or not it’s a known issue or not, and he looked it up and told me ‘they know it’s an issue and supposedly it will be addressed in the next beta’. That’s what I was told.
