Okay, so I have a jailbroken iPhone 3G and it was low on battery so I connected it to my logitech pure-fi speakers. I thought it was turning on and it was going to charge as it always did so I left. When I came back it was off so I turned it on. It turned on fine and then once it turned back on it all of sudden went into the spiral wheel and turned itself off. I thought this weird so I tried to turn it back on (while it was still connected) and again it shut itself off again. So I thought I would take a USB of mine and connect it to my macbook. It did it again! THen I thought well let me restore my phone. It wouldn't come up on iTunes! Funny thing is I am able to use my Iphone while it is not connected to my computer. Sad part is that it only has 10% of battery life left. I don't know what to do! Any help?

A little more info is that when ever it does die and has no battery life what-so-ever I will connect it to thorough my USB or my pure-fi speakers and it will charge till it turns on, though when it does turn on it crashes.

I did it get it into DFU mode and I did a little more searching and I guess a 'fuse' went out on my USB hub on my iPhone. It has to do something with the car charger I was using. Well I am going to take it to Apple and see if they can give me a new one though I have two questions. First, my phone is in DFU mode, and I jail broke my iPhone which everyone knows voids your warranty. Will apple be able to get my phone out of DFU mode and see I have cydia installed on it? Second, this is not my first time getting a new iPhone. I was just in about two months ago getting a new iPhone. Does it matter how many times you go into the genius bar and they giving you a new iPhone? Thank you in advance!

Forget everything fixed my problem. There was this metal thing inside the USB hub. Got it out then turned it on hooked it up and everything works fine. Phew. That really scared me :D
