Iphone keeps vibrating

Hi,

Not sure what the problem is but my iphone keeps vibrating.

Every so often it will vibrate about 5 - 10 times, thoughout the day. It does it lots after being on silent. Im am running 3.0 so could this be the problem or does it sound like a hardware issue?

Has anyone heard of this or had it.

Did someone send you a text you did not open?>
 
I've had the same issue, but only when its set to silent. It will suddenly vibrate and for no particular reason, and the "silent" symbol (bell with an oblique slash) will flash on the screen.

Sometimes when I'm listening to music, and its not set to silent, I will suddenly hear an incoming sms alert but there is no sms actually. Its quite befuddling, but nothing that I can't live with.

That's kind of what i'm getting except its not set to silent its when its off silent or just been taken off silent that it happens most and will go off around 10 times and seams to happening more.

Anyone know what causes this or does it sound like a fault?
